I love Jonathan Rhys Meyers performance in his television film ‘Elvis’ which was released in the year 2005 where the storyline of the movie goes like the chronicle of the life of Elvis Presley from his childhood to his struggling career till he got stardom internationally.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers gave the best performance in his movie velvet goldmine released in the year 1998 where the British journalist Arthur Stuart investigated the life of superstar Brian Slade who has been heavily influenced in his career starting days by rebellious American singer Curt Wild.

Moreover, I loved watching the movie where Jonathan Rhys Meyers acted as Titus in the movie named ‘Titus’ where the story speaks of victorious Titus who returns from war only to plant seeds of future turmoil for himself and his family.

He is into the character in most of his films, one of such is The emperor’s wife which was released in the year 2003. The storyline ran thus – the empress is given seven years of time to look for an emperor with an heir to his throne.

If she cannot succeed in doing so within that time limit, the emperor can marry a different girl. The emperor’s Chamberlain helps the emperor in searching for a right girl who throws all the four people into a great mighty struggle.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is also known for his acting skills in his movie ‘ The children of Huang Shi’ released in the year 2008. The story is about a journalist of British named George Hogg, who takes the assistance of an Australian nurse and saves a group of orphaned children when Japan occupied China during 1937.

I was greatly impressed with his performance in a television film named The Tudors telecasted from 2007 till 2010 . It is a drama and an adventurous film where the story is about Henry Vlll who becomes king of England and went on expressing his great disapproval for Roman Catholic Church and laid down the foundation for the church of England and married six times.

The series bagged with many awards including Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Costumes for a Series, Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music and many more.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers has again proved himself in a movie named ‘Match point’ where he acted the role of Chris Wilton. It is a thriller film and where Jonathan took the main role. The film showcases the life of Chris who is a former tennis player and looks for a job as an instructor. He meets Tom Hewett who is a wealthy young man whose sister falls in love with Chris, but Chris falls for Tom’s fiancee Nola.
